Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using ChartPilot ("Service", "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of ChartPilot, including the web application at https://chartpilot.live and the ChartPilot Chrome Extension.
2. Description of Service
ChartPilot is an AI-powered technical analysis tool that allows users to upload chart screenshots and receive automated, scenario-based analysis. The Service is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
ChartPilot does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals. All analysis output is generated by artificial intelligence and should not be relied upon for any financial decision.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use ChartPilot. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.
4. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that appear to be used fraudulently.
5. Credit System
ChartPilot operates on a credit-based system. New accounts receive 30 free credits upon registration. Each analysis consumes credits as displayed at the time of submission.
Credits may be purchased through the billing section. Purchased credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as stated in a separate refund policy.
We reserve the right to modify credit costs, packages, and pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
- Share your account credentials with others
- Automate requests in a way that places excessive load on our infrastructure
- Upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates third-party rights
- Attempt to circumvent the credit system or access paid features without payment
- Resell, redistribute, or repackage ChartPilot's AI outputs as your own financial advice service
7. Educational Disclaimer — Not Financial Advice
IMPORTANT: All content provided by ChartPilot, including AI-generated analysis, support/resistance levels, bias assessments, pattern detections, and setup evaluations, is for educational and informational purposes only.
ChartPilot is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or investment firm. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other sort of advice.
You acknowledge that trading financial instruments involves significant risk of loss and may not be suitable for all investors. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.
8. Intellectual Property
The ChartPilot platform, including its design, code, branding, and AI models, is owned by ChartPilot and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
You retain ownership of any chart images you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process those images solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service.
9. Third-Party Services
ChartPilot uses OpenAI's API to process chart images. By using ChartPilot, you acknowledge that your chart screenshots are processed by OpenAI subject to their terms and privacy policy. We do not control OpenAI's systems and are not responsible for their availability or behavior.
10. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or suspend the Service temporarily without prior notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChartPilot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or financial losses arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any analysis output.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChartPilot and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are non-refundable upon termination for cause.

14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
